Getting online and setting up your online bingo account is one thing. Knowing how to play is obviously a big factor, but once you've learned how to play, there other rules you should know.
The etiquette of online bingo is important – it will the affect the way that other players will treat you, as well as the way that the admins will treat you when you have a problem.
Inappropriate behavior is not welcome at any online community, and bingo is no different.
Before you start playing, there are a few points of etiquette you should know:
First of all, you should always be polite to the CM (Chat Manager). This guy is in charge of making everyone's time as pleasant as can be, and he definitely not your enemy.
Other player should be treated nicely as well. The CM will be aware of the fact that you're troubling other players if you choose to, and he can have you kicked out.
If you have any complaints or any problems, take it up with customer service. Making a racket in chat boxes won't solve you're problem, but rather just annoy other players.
Don't use foul or offensive language. Again, not all people appreciate this type of language and it should be avoided for the sake of everyone's enjoyment of the game.
Following these simple steps will make your time at the virtual bingo hall much nicer. Whenever you think of doing something that might be offensive, think of how you'd feel in the opposite position, and calculate your actions.
Furthermore, being offensive can get you banned from the site, with your money seized. It violates terms of service, and bad etiquette won't be tolerated at any respected online bingo hall. |
